The Nuts and Bolts of Time and Task Management

Time management experts agree that rule number one in the planning process is this: Use a planner. I have designed a system called the Plan-it Life Organizer (you saw a sample “Life-Plan” page earlier). In the next few pages, you will see other sample pages from the Plan-It. You may prefer to modify your own planner system or use another format. But if you want to try the Plan-It, see the order form.

How much time should we devote to daily planning? I recommend a minimum of 10 or 15 minutes a day solely devoted to planning. Use the steps described below and you’ll see a significant boost in your personal effectiveness.
