  1. If you work for several bosses, and they give you conflicting orders, don’t make the decision yourself as to what to do first. Don’t proceed unless you have clarity about your chosen project. You don’t want to make an “executive decision” and then find out after hours of hard work that it was the wrong one. Ask them which project you should concentrate on first.

You may be thinking, “These techniques would help if I worked with reasonable people. Some employees are so pushy they’d just barge in anyway. They don’t care if I’m trying to concentrate. They just want what they want!”
