Goals and objectives

Explanation

The primary difference between objectives and goals is that a goal is long range and an objective is an intermediate step that helps you accomplish the goal. For example, your goal might be to get a promotion before the end of the year. An objective for that goal might be to take a class in computer programming to fill the educational requirements for an upper level position.
