Directing/Guiding

These people value results, accomplishments, action, and loyalty. They are not comfortable with self-disclosure, and will rarely reveal anything about themselves other than their achievements and activities. They are not particularly interested in hearing about you, your family, or your problems. They prefer to keep things impersonal. Directing/guiding people have a serious, almost stern, look about them, with closed postures and a military bearing. Their offices reflect a serious, organized place where things get done, and there are few personal touches other than symbols of their accomplishments or their beliefs and values. The seating arrangement is formal and distancing.
