Short Trips (Short-term goals):

Once a day during the next week, spend 10 to 15 minutes at the end of each working day writing assertive statements about situations involving you or observed by you. Use nonassertive and aggressive incidents and write down how they could have been handled assertively.

Each evening before turning out the light, read the psychological “reprogramming” cards you completed on page 21, after achieving a state of relaxation. Do this for three weeks.
