Part VIII: APPENDIX > Summary and Review

Appendix. Summary and Review

Following is a quick review of what has been presented in this book. There are three fundamental behaviors: nonassertive, assertive, and aggressive. Of these styles, assertive behavior is the most desirable.

First you took a reading of your own assertiveness. Next you learned to identify each behavior style, and you learned about the basic personality groups: thinkers, feelers, and doers. These initial insights were provided to help you move toward a “win-win” philosophy of assertiveness.
