Lessen the Hurt

You can limit the escalation of anger by stopping attacks from others when they are not constructive. Even if something is wrong or you’ve done something, you don’t have to listen to abusive language. You’re also hearing only one opinion about one thing you’ve done. Don’t contribute to the attack, and don’t take anything said as representing the truth about who you are and what you do. Also, you’re human like everyone else and unlikely to achieve the perfection you picture in your mind. If you can accept yourself as a human being who sometimes makes mistakes, you will limit a great deal of your anger feelings and angry moments.
