The Difficult Person

The difficult person we’re talking about now is not the nuisance who may cross your path and vanish, but the person who really becomes a thorn in your side.

Most people faced with the unhappy task of dealing with difficult people try a rational approach. When this fails, they assume the individual wasn’t listening, so they increase the volume of their voice or continue to repeat themselves. The difficult person usually feels nagged and refuses to cooperate.
