Using Replaceable Parameters in Macros

In Appendix C’s “Using Parameters for Batch File Flexibility” section, I show you how to use replaceable parameters inside batch files. Macros, too, can use replaceable parameters. Instead of the symbols %1 through %9 that are available in a batch file, use the symbols $1 through $9 for macros.

For example, the CDD macro introduced in the last section is okay, but it lacks flexibility. Instead, change the macro to the following:
