Customizing Other Command-Line Windows

Customizing Other Command-Line Windows

A 16-bit or command-line program, like any Windows Vista object, has various properties that you can manipulate to fine-tune how the program works. To display the properties sheet for a 16-bit or command-line program, you have three choices:

  • In Explorer, select the program’s executable file and select File, Properties; or right-click the file, and select Properties.

  • If the program’s window is open, you can get to the properties sheet from the keyboard by pressing Alt+Spacebar and selecting Properties from the control menu that appears.
