Using QuickTime Player

QuickTime Player can open and display or play hundreds of different file types, including graphics files, audio files, movie files, and even virtual reality files that simulate a 3D environment. Most often, you’ll want to use QuickTime to view various types of movie files that combine audio and video. In fact, movie files give rise to the term multimedia, which describes a computing experience that combines more than one media format.
