Chapter 14. Traveling the Web > Working with Bookmarks

Working with Bookmarks

While Safari automatically remembers URLs that you’ve typed into the address text box, you generally have to remember to retype at least part of the URL to take advantage of this feature. Safari offers an even easier feature that you can use to mark and return to particular Web pages—the Bookmarks feature. (Other Web browsers offer a similar feature called Favorites.) This section shows you how marking and using a bookmark can save you time.

Marking a Page as a Bookmark

When you mark a Web page as a bookmark, you add it to the list in the bookmarks menu in Safari and the Bookmarks bar.
