Changing the Clock Appearance

If you start the Mac OS X Version 10.2 Clock application, its icon appears on the Dock and displays the actual system time as set in Mac OS X version 10.2. (This clock supplements the clock on the Finder menu bar. Click on that Finder clock to switch between the current date and the current time.) You can change the Clock application so that it displays as a digital clock or appears in its own floating window instead of the Dock. (The “Setting Date & Time Preferences” section in Chapter 10 explains how to change the actual system time.) Follow these steps to set up the Clock display, as you prefer:

NOTE

Start the Clock by double-clicking on the Clock icon in the Applications folder.
