Creating a Dial-Up Connection with Internet Connect

Changing the Internet settings for your system completes half of the preparation for going online. For those of you with a dial-up connection, you must specify what phone number your modem should dial to connect with your ISP. (Again, the ISP should provide all information needed for the connection.) To make or edit the actual connection, you use a Mac OS X Version 10.2 application called Internet Connect, which works with the System Preferences settings for your modem (on the Network pane).
