Chapter 12.  Getting Networked  > Connecting to Other Computers

Connecting to Other Computers

Once you’ve set up your network, you’re ready to work with the files on other users’ systems. One way to find connected servers and the contents of other users’ Public folders is to use the Network Browser. You find it by clicking on Computer in a Finder window toolbar and then double-clicking on Network. From there you can browse through locations and folders as normal. However, if a particular location or server isn’t showing up, or you want to go to a favorite network location, use the Connect to Server command.
