Part: IV Your Own Personal Windows > Setting Up Programs

Chapter 14. Setting Up Programs

IN THIS CHAPTER

In Chapter 1, you learned the basics of how to start a program. In addition to using the Start menu to start programs, you can create shortcut icons to programs. You also can change the Start menu, for example, pinning commonly used programs to the main menu (the left side of the menu, with Internet and Email). Finally, you can install new programs and uninstall programs you do not use. This chapter covers all these methods for customizing and setting up programs on your computer.
