Introduction

Macintosh's Sherlock application is a slick way for you to create customized collections of Web services using individual channels that organize the information, which makes it easy to understand. For example, you can get organized information for movies that you like, as well as a listing of your favorite restaurants; even track your stock portfolio, all from one application.

Sherlock takes the confusion out of surfing the Internet, by letting you quickly decide what information you want, and how it's displayed—all without pop-up windows and annoying advertisements. You can quickly wade through the information to find exactly what you're interested in, and Sherlock changes the window display as you move through the preset and user-defined channels. If you want more channels, you can use the Internet channel to search for more channels.
