Using the eBay Channel

All you Internet shoppers out there pay attention, because eBay has created a Sherlock friendly version of their Web site, especially for you. For example, you're looking for an antique Tiffany lamp, you don't want to pay more than five-hundred dollars, and you want the seller to be within your state, so you can drive and see before you buy. No problem, all you'll need is an Internet connection, a sense of adventure, a willingness to bid against others, who may desire the same Tiffany lamp, and a checkbook—Sherlock provides the rest.

Use the eBay Channel

Open the Applications folder, and then double-click the Sherlock icon.

Click the eBay button.

Type the item you're searching for in the Item Title field.

Click the Category pop-up, and then select from the available options.

Click the Regions pop-up, and then select a region.

Enter a price range into the Priced Between fields (optional).

Click the Sort pop-up, and then select how you want the matches sorted.

Click the Search button or press Return to generate a list of possible matches.

Select an item from the list to display an image (if available), and an informational window, describing the object, and how to bid.

Click the Track Listing button to add the item to the tracking list.

Click the Track button to view the recent bidding history of all tracked items.

Quit Sherlock.
