Printing a Web Page

Web pages are designed for viewing on a computer screen, but you can also print all or part of one. Before you print, you should preview the page to verify that it looks the way you want. When you are ready to print, Safari provides many options for printing Web pages. If the Web page consists of frames, you can print the specific frame you want to print. You can also use the Print dialog to create a PDF of a Web page or send a Web page as a fax.

Print a Web Page

Open the Web page you want to print, click the File menu, and then click Print.

Click the Printer pop-up, and then select from the available printer descriptions.

Click the Presets pop-up, and then select from the available preset options.

Click the Print Options pop-up, and then select from the available print options, such as Safari.

Choose the various options for the specific Print Option. When you select the Safari print option, you can print a Web page background.

Click the following options to finalize your print: Preview, Save As PDF, Fax, Cancel, or Print.
