Chapter 8. Exploring the Internet > Customizing the Safari Window

Customizing the Safari Window

When you start Safari, the program window displays buttons on the toolbar, status bars, and tabs. The elements of the Safari window allow you to view, print, and search for information on the Internet. You can customize the Safari window display to conform to the way you work. The View menu allows you to turn on and off different display elements. A check mark next to an item on the View menu indicates the element appears in the Safari window, while a blank area indicates it's hidden.

Customize the Safari Window

Click the View menu.

Click the menu item with the element you want to show or hide in the Safari window.
