Saving Pictures or Text from a Web Page

If you find information on a web page that you want to save for future reference or share with others, you can copy and paste it to another document or save it on your computer. When you copy information from a web page, make sure you're not violating any copyright laws.

Save a Picture from a Web Page

Open the web page with the picture you want to save.

Point to the picture you want to save to display a toolbar on the graphic, and then click the Save button.

If the toolbar doesn't appear, right-click the picture, and then click Save Picture As.

Select the drive and folder in which you want to save the file.

Type a name for the file, or use the suggested name.

To change the format of a file, click the Save As Type list arrow, and then click a file format.

Click Save.
