WMI Applications

WMI is much easier to use than it is to describe, as you'll see. The remainder of the chapter shows several scripts that use WMI to monitor or manage one or more computers.

The sample scripts in this section are written to use a subroutine to process each computer. The subroutine is called for each computer that the script is to work with; you can extend the list of computers to suit your network, or you can make the script operate on computers named on the command line by replacing the list of subroutine calls
