Chapter 9. Creating Your Own Scriptable ... > Creating Objects with WSC Files

Creating Objects with WSC Files

We've been working with objects from the scripting side for the last six chapters. Now, we'll change our viewpoint to the other side—the implementation of the object itself. In the remainder of this chapter, I'll show you how to create objects using Windows Script Host. Here, I'll focus on the basics of object programs using the Windows Script Component technology provided with Windows Script Host, and again, with advance apologies to JScript programmers, the examples will be written in VBScript.

Note

If you've downloaded Windows Script Host version 5.6 and its documentation from msdn.microsoft.com, you can find more information on WSC files in the downloaded documentation in the section “How Script Components Work.”
