Windows Media Player

The Windows Media Player, which can be used to play music and video files (including Windows Movie Maker productions) from online sources and local drives and create digitized versions of music CDs, has been extensively retooled for the release of Windows XP. Windows Media Player 8 has a brand-new user interface, as shown in Figure 7.24, to support its many new and enhanced features.
