Viewing Web Pages in Other Languages

Do you frequently find yourself browsing pages created in an alphabet that's not the same one used in your Windows language settings? By default, the American English version of IE 5.5 is configured to properly display Western European languages such as German and French, which use the Latin alphabet. Before Internet Explorer can display pages using other, different alphabets properly, you must

  1. Enable AutoSelect for Encoding.

  2. Install support for the correct language you want to view.
