Downloading Music from the Web

You can use the Windows Media Player to locate, play back, and download music from the World Wide Web. To find music on the Web, perform these steps:

  1. Open an Internet connection.

  2. Select the Media Guide button.

  3. Select the Music tab and scroll down to Find Music.

  4. Select the Music Download tab.

  5. You can download a selected audio or video track by selecting a featured artist and choosing an item from the Media section of their page (see Figure 14.9).

  6. You also can preview or purchase music by other artists. Select by artist name or by category.

  7. To go to selected music Web sites, scroll past the artist listing and select the Web site you want to visit.
