Chapter 27. Web Browsing with Internet E... > Increasing the Size of the Browser W...

Increasing the Size of the Browser Window

Pieces of the Internet Explorer interface can get in the way of data, especially on displays running at low resolutions, but you can make more space available for data in the browser window. Most methods for doing so involve hiding, rearranging, or reconfiguring these optional interface elements.

The simplest way to reclaim space for data is to hide the toolbars and status bar. To hide the status bar, choose View and click Status Bar; to eliminate one or more of the three built-in toolbars, right-click on the menu bar and remove the check marks from Standard Buttons, Address Bar, or Links.
