Creating a Startup Disk from DOS

If you cannot boot into Windows 98 but are able to start your computer into a command prompt, you have the option of creating a Windows 98 startup disk from MS-DOS. To do so, you must be able to boot into a fully functional DOS environment with access to the system's hard drive.

To create a Windows 98 startup disk from MS-DOS, follow these steps:
