Exchanging Data Between Windows and DOS

You are not limited to sharing data between Windows applications. If you are still using DOS applications in the Windows environment, you can use the Clipboard to exchange information, including text and graphics, from Windows to DOS, from DOS to Windows, and between DOS applications. You can even transfer text from the MS-DOS command prompt to the document.

To exchange data from a DOS application to a Windows application, follow these steps:
