Using the CD Player

The CD Player lets you create custom play lists by entering information about the currently loaded CD and then setting up the list of tracks you want to play. When the audio CD is later loaded, Windows 98 recognizes the unique bit pattern of the disc and calls up the information you entered. Other features are also available for tweaking playback.

Creating a Custom Play List

To create a custom play list for a loaded audio CD, do the following from the CD Player: Disc Settings dialog box shown in Figure 19.14:
