Secrets of Mastering the Windows 98 Environment: Using WindowSwitcher

WindowSwitcher is a neat little tool that enables you to go back and forth between all open documents, workbooks, and any other Windows-based applications. When more than one document, workbook, or presentation is open, WindowSwitcher displays the inactive windows as a series of buttons on the taskbar. These handy shortcuts save a lot of time because the user doesn't have to go to the specific application's Window menu to switch over to one of the other inactive (but open) windows; just click the window's button on the taskbar or press Alt+Tab. WindowSwitcher automatically activates that window. WindowSwitcher displays the captions and appropriate icons of the inactive windows in the taskbar and remembers up to 10 windows in each application. If a caption is too large to display on the taskbar, simply hold the mouse pointer over the button and a ToolTip displays the full caption.
