Chapter 15. Using NetMeeting > Using Speed Dial, Viewing Dial History, and Send...

Using Speed Dial, Viewing Dial History, and Sending Email

When you successfully connect to another party, that person's address is added to the Speed Dial list. To view the list, click the drop-down list at the top of the NetMeeting window, or open the Directory window and select Speed Dial from the Select a Directory drop-down. Using the Speed Dial list, you can easily reconnect with a party by double-clicking his or her name or IP address.

By contrast, the History list (which you can view from the Directory window if you choose History from the drop-down list) displays the names of everyone who called you and the times of the calls. Even if you don't answer the call, or you just ignore it (by clicking Ignore), it's added to the History list. Just double-click the caller's entry list to attempt to reconnect.
