Dual-Booting Versus Single Booting

In addition to the upgrade/fresh installation issue, you also must consider the single/dual or multiboot issue. Dual-booting is a scheme that lets you keep your old operating system and install Windows 2000 Professional as a fresh installation. When you boot up, you are given a choice of operating system to start, as you can see in Figure 4.1.
