Installing Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4.0

These days, it's nearly impossible to purchase a new PC without a copy of Windows 95. Most new computers sold since early 1997 come with OSR2 installed. If your computer is running the original version of Windows 95, it's possible to upgrade to OSR2, although it requires some extra work to find a legal copy and to prepare your system for the upgrade. If you want to convert your FAT16 formatted hard disk to the more efficient FAT32, then you need to back up all your data, repartition and reformat your hard disk, install OSR2, and reinstall your applications and data. It takes a lot of time, but it's not particularly difficult, especially if you follow the instructions in Chapter 2.
