Sharing CD-ROMs and Other Removable Drives

Although almost every home computer now sold includes a CD-ROM, this component is not usually standard equipment on the average business machine. One of the outstanding advantages to peer networking is the capability to share a CD-ROM drive among several users without the need to install it on a file server (a complicated process in a NetWare environment).
