Keeping Applications and Data Separate

The preceding sections discussed only data files—the files that you generate by using your applications. But where should you store application files—your programs? The best method is to store applications locally on each user's C drive (if you have the space on your hard drive), because applications load and run noticeably faster if they run from the local hard drive.
