Using Other Online Services

Increasingly, online services are resembling Internet service providers, both in the services they offer and the rates they charge. When you open the Online Services folder on the Windows desktop, you have access to shortcuts that enable you to connect with America Online (AOL), AT&T WorldNet, CompuServe (which is now owned by AOL), and Prodigy Internet. On some systems, you might see a different collection of shortcuts, including one that points to the now-defunct CompuServe WOW! service.
