Using Regedit

Regedit externally appears to be the same Registry Editor that comes with Windows 95 (see Figure 28.1). However, because the Registry is stored on the disk differently for Windows NT than for Windows 95, and because Windows NT has more security features than Windows 95, the internals of the programs are different. Although their programs appear the same, the Windows 95 and Windows NT Registries share only about 40 percent of the same keys.
