Introducing My Computer

My Computer (see Figure 2.32) provides handy access to all of the resources on your computer. Theseresources can be drives (floppy and fixed), printers, CD-ROM drives, and important system folders (such as Control Panel and Printers). Once you can see these resources, you can manage them; copying and moving files from one location to another, installing a printer, changing system settings, or launching an application loaded on a CD-ROM. My Computer happens to be a special type of folder in Windows NT. As such, you manage the objects you see in the My Computer folder as you would any other folder.
