Configuring Windows NT Internet Options

Windows NT provides a large number of options for controlling how you use and access the Internet from Windows NT Workstation. You can specify a wide number of options, such as how much storage Windows NT allots to save images from Web sites you visit (to promote faster retrieval of images on the page when you return). Another option you can choose prevents viewing of Web pages with particularly violent content. Note that the Web browser you use with Windows NT must support the options you choose or these features will be of no use.

To configure the Internet's interaction with Windows NT, follow these steps:
