E-mail and information storage are the highlights of Windows Messaging. You should now know how to compose and transmit messages, respond to incoming messages, keep a Personal Address Book, and maintain good order in your message file.

However, that's just the tip of the iceberg for Windows Messaging. The application delivered with Windows NT Workstation is only one version. A different version, called Exchange and distributed with Exchange Server (part of Microsoft BackOffice), adds a whole range of additional features. These include automatic assistants to respond to incoming messages or to move messages into different folders for you.
