Managing Addresses

The various address lists that you can use were mentioned, without really getting into the details of where those addresses originate. For the most part, you will be entering new recipients in the Personal Address Book (PAB).

If you're using Microsoft Mail, you'll also use addresses from the postoffice list and, if you're part of a large organization, the global address list. Both of these lists are controlled by your e-mail administrator; you can't add or remove names. However, you will learn how to copy a name from the postoffice list to your PAB for faster access.
