Chapter 24. Using Windows Messaging > Transferring Messages

Transferring Messages

As stated earlier in this chapter, sending a message is not the same as delivering it. In this section, you look at the steps needed to move messages from your Outbox to their intended recipients.

First, take a look at the Outbox folder right after you send a message or two. Those messages are listed in italic. If you open a message in the Outbox, perhaps to edit it before it's delivered, you must send it again. Either click the Send button or choose File, Send. If you choose File, Send. If you choose File, Save instead, the message stays in the Outbox, but is not italicized; it won't be sent the next time you transfer mail.
