After completing the settings for a new connection, you can save those settings in a file that you can later retrieve, to save time and energy when working with HyperTerminal. When saving your new connection information, you name the file and then choose a specific location in which to store the file. Later, you can open the settings file and immediately dial the remote computer with ease.
By default, HyperTerminal saves the connection setting files in the PROGRAM FILES\WINDOWS NT folder. You can, of course, choose any folder you want to save your settings files in.
