Using Remote Access Service

The other side of Dial-Up Networking is Remote Access Service (RAS)—software that runs the host capabilities of a computer when another computer dials in. When your computer is acting as a host it is called a RAS Server.

If you've installed Dial-Up Networking, some of the RAS installation is already accomplished because Dial-Up Networking uses RAS features.
