Saving and Restoring Disk Configuration

The disk configuration information includes assigned drive letters, stripe sets, volume sets, logical drives, and so on. After setting up this information in the Disk Administrator, you can save your disk configurations to floppy disk and then restore the configurations at any time using the Save and Restore commands in the Disk Administrator. Additionally, you can search for specific disk configuration information and use that configuration to overwrite the existing configuration.

Saving Disk Configuration

You can save the disk configuration to a floppy disk from the Windows NT Registry, but the information does not include any changes made during the current session.
