The Disk Administrator is a graphical tool you can use to organize and manage the hard disks on your computer. There are many tasks you can perform with the Disk Administrator, including the following:
Create and delete partitions. Partitions are separate areas, or divisions, of the hard disk.
Format and label volumes. Volumes are fixed amounts of hard disk storage space labeled with a name.
Create and delete volumes.
Get information about disks, including partition sizes, free space available, and so on.
Change drive-letter assignments for hard disk volumes and CD-ROM drives.
Create and delete stripe sets.
