Chapter 16. Integrating Windows NT in No... > Sharing Resources in NetWare Environ...

Sharing Resources in NetWare Environments

You can use any of the resources on the NetWare network that you have been assigned rights and permissions for by the NetWare administrator. Files, directories, printers, and other resources available to the NetWare network can also be made available to a Windows NT Workstation.

View the available resources in the Network Neighborhood. Generally, NetWare resources are made available in the Public directory on the NetWare server; but ask your network administrator if you cannot find what you need on the server. Figure 16.12 shows the progression from the server to the SYS volume, to the Public directory. You can also use the Windows NT Find command to locate files and directories on the NetWare server.
