Using NetWare Services and Protocols

When attaching a computer that's running Windows NT Workstation to a

Novell NetWare network, you must first install a client service and a compatible protocol so the workstation can access and communicate with the NetWare server. Windows NT provides everything you need to prepare the workstation for NetWare. After configuring the workstation, you can access the NetWare network resources the same way you access any Microsoft network: through the Network Neighborhood.
