Changing Regional Settings

Windows NT lets you customize the way it formats and displays numbers, currency, and dates to conform with the conventions of various countries or regions. For instance, you can specify whether to use a comma or a period to separate thousands in a number and whether the day or the month should appear first in a date. Many word processors and other programs will refer to Windows regional settings for this format information.
